Council Meeting

That the Council of the Township of North Glengarry accepts the agenda of the Regular Meeting of Council on Monday March 14, 2022.

That the minutes for the following meetings be adopted as circulated. Special Meeting of Council - February 28, 2022 Regular Meeting of Council - February 28, 2022

THAT Council of the Township of North Glengarry supports the Glengarry Physician Recruitment Program in the amount of $5,000 per new physician recruited to Hopital Glengarry Memorial Hospital.

THAT Council of the Township of North Glengarry receives staff report No. AD-2022-03 regarding Electronic Meeting Participation.

THAT Council of the Township of North Glengarry receives Staff Report No. AD-2022-04; AND THAT Council adopts by-law No. 14-2022 being a by-law to rescind by-law No 34-2020 Mandatory Mask Policy; AND THAT by-law No. 14-2022 be read a first, second and third time and enacted in open Council this 14 th day of March 2022.

THAT Council receives Staff Report No. CS-2022-09; THAT Council approves the rental of the Gary Shepherd Hall, kitchenette and south office, located at 102 Derby Street West in Alexandria Ontario, to the Glengarry Encore for a period of two years starting September 1, 2022 with an additional 2 x one (1) year options for the amount of $5,000.00 (plus HST) per year and that the 2 nd , 3 rd and 4 th year rental be increased according to the cost of living; and THAT the Chief Administrative Officer is hereby authorized to execute the documentation relevant to this rental.

THAT the Council of the Township of North Glengarry receives Staff Report No. BP-2022-08; and THAT By-law No. 12-2022, being a By-law to authorize a Shared Services Agreement for Planning Services with the United Counties of Stormont Dundas & Glengarry be read a first, second, third time and enacted in Open Council this 14 th day of March, 2022.

THAT Council of the Township of North Glengarry adopt Site Plan Development Agreement By-law No. 11-2022 for the property described as Con 3 Pt Lot 2; RP14R6593 Parts 2, 3, 4 & 5, Township of North Glengarry; and THAT By-law 11-2022 be read a first, second, third time and enacted in Open Council this 14th day of March, 2022.

THAT Council of the Township of North Glengarry approves entering into a Medical Tiered Response Agreement with the Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services; and THAT Council adopt by-law No. 13-2022 being a by-law to enter into an agreement with Cornwall SDG Paramedic Services and that by-law 13-2022 be read a first, second and third time and enacted in open Council this 14 th day of March 2022.

THAT the Committee of the Whole receives Staff Report No. PW 2022-10, Award of Tender 2022-02 – Purchase of Aggregate; AND THAT Council authorizes the Mayor and CAO/Clerk to enter into an agreement with Coco Paving Inc. to purchase 30,000 M.T. of aggregate for $348,000.000 excluding HST.

That the Council of the Township of North Glengarry receives the items from the consent agenda for information purposes only.

That the Council of the Township of North Glengarry receive By-law 15-2022; and That Council adopt by-law 15-2022 being a by-law to adopt, confirm and ratify matters dealt with by Resolution and that By-law 15-2022 be read a first, second, third time and enacted in Open Council this 14th day of March, 2022.

THAT Council of the Township of North Glengarry supports the Glengarry Physician Recruitment Program in the amount of $5,000 per new physician recruited to Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital.
